Keeping your body strong and healthy helps you look and feel good. It can also help improve your fertility.
Your health is also affected by the environment in which you live. Avoid exposures that can cause infertility by damaging sperm or lowering sperm counts.
Take care of your emotional and mental health. A healthy mind is important for your personal well-being and can also affect the health of your future children and family.
Nearly half of pregnancies in California are not planned and could happen at a time when a man's health or social situation is not ideal for becoming a father. An important step to decide when to have children and prevent unintended pregnancies is making a Reproductive Life Plan.
